Couldn’t decide on color or black and white……

Last weekend I had the awesome opportunity to photograph Olivia and Steve’s engagement session in San Francisco, California.  We went all over the city, ending it at Crissy Field after making a quick stop at the Legion of Honor (we had about 2 minutes inside the gates before it closed…whew!).  It was an amazing time just hanging out together, getting to know one another better.  We stopped at the Presidio for a quick drink and change of clothes and just enjoyed each others company.  Liv and Steve, you two are amazing and I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year in Morgan Creek.  Thank you for letting me capture these moments…..

This past weekend I had the pleasure of going to Santa Cruz County to Capitola specifically and doing a family  / engagement session with Melissa, Jay and Colton.  They are getting married next September in Kaui, Hawaii.  We had a great time running around the city looking for spots to photograph and then ending the night on the beach.  It was cloudy and overcast but gorgeous.  Thanks you guys for asking me to capture these moments!  You are gorgeous, Melissa, and Colton is just a doll.  Thanks Jay for being such a good sport about all my crazy ideas.  :)  Enjoy!

My fav of the whole night……

This weekend we had an amazing time at my brother-in-law’s beach house.  It is RIGHT on the beach, we just walked down the stairs and were on the sand.  Thanks so much, Jim!  Joe decided to go out and surf, which he hasn’t done in years.  I had more fun just watching and taking pictures  I had to snap a few of the girls too, after Grace found a sand dollar and then just Liv sitting by herself on the massive beach…. it was just a moment where I felt so small on this earth.  The coolest part of the whole weekend was when we were getting ready to leave and I needed just a few minutes to sit alone on the beach and take it all in, and all of a sudden six dolphins right by the shore started putting on a show for me.  It was AMAZING!!!!  They were literally right by the sand, it was crazy.  It was a little spiritual moment for me and I’ll never forget it.  Here are some pics from the day…..

Just did a little mini studio session with “G” and I love how the colors all turned out.  The outfit was her own selection all the way to the tights  It was super cute.  More to come.  The chair will be a highlight for Christmas sessions and will look amazing on the cover of any christmas cards!!!  Looking forward to taking that out into the middle of a field and testing it out on my sisters family soon.

A few months ago I had the opportunity to photograph Geoffe and Sarah’s engagement session down in Newport Beach.  If you have been to Newport Beach then you probably will recognize Balboa Island and the “Fun Zone” are with the ferris wheel.  Super Fun!  If I’m not mistaken, this is also where a fellow photographer, Ms. Jessica Claire got engaged  :).  It was an awesome time.  No date is set yet, but I’m sure it will be an amazing day!  Thanks you guys!
