Joe + “C”…….

September 30th, 2008 , Posted in Uncategorized

I don’t think I’ve ever blogged a picture of my husband and I actually together.  I’m always the one behind the camera but my friend, Tori, was with us at the beach this weekend so I handed her my camera for a few quick snaps and here is what we got….  I’m posting this for my mom who is my number one fan, besides Joe :)  THANKS!

Joelle and Jake: Married!

September 28th, 2008 , Posted in Uncategorized

Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing a bridal shoot with Joelle and Jake in San Francisco at the Palace of Fine Arts and Baker Beach.  When we got to the Palace we were disappointed to find out that most of the area was fenced off for a major remodeling so we were unable to use the gorgeous pillars that the Palace is known for.  So….. we did the best we could and then made our way to Baker Beach.  It was an amazing day with awesome weather and light!  Thanks Joelle and Jake for being up for anything!  You guys were awesome and congratulations!

Olivia… my baby…

September 24th, 2008 , Posted in Uncategorized

Just had to post a quick picture before I walk out the door.  This is my little baby, well, she turned 4 this month, but she is still my baby.  The day before school pictures her and her friend Mason were playing together and my friend Fara yelled “Crystal, your daughter is cutting her hair!!!”… I walked in to see a small pile of hair neatly placed on the bench.  They were being so “professional” with the water bottle to spray their hair, the comb, and scissors, just like at the hair salon  :)   Apparently they were trying to make themselves look like pirates, but I told Olivia that pirates have long hair.  Her response was “well we wanted to be BALD pirates…”  I just had to laugh.  What is the likelihood of the hair cut happening the day before school pictures?    So funny!  Anyway, immediately after we left I went straight to Supercuts that night and had it fixed.  Pretty short for her, but she looks cute no matter what hair she has, even if there would have been none left  :)  So here is Olivia, and then she wanted a picture with Mason…..Mason didn’t quite know what to do with Olivia’s posing and “affection”  Ha!

Tammy and Brian: MARRIED!!!

September 21st, 2008 , Posted in Uncategorized

Yesterday I had the privilege of helping to document the wedding of Tammy and Brian from Chico, California.  It was a gorgeous autumn day at Sunchasers in Chico.  Just an amazing place that was landscaped to the hilt.  Amazing waterfalls, ponds, fish, even a swing under a huge tree.  Thank you to Sylvain Gentile for letting me be part of the day shooting this wedding with him.  Here are just a few that popped out at me on the first look…..  Thanks Tammy and Brian!  Have an amazing honeymoon!

The Hampton Family…..

September 12th, 2008 , Posted in Uncategorized

This week I had the privilege of photographing the Hampton family during an evening shoot.  What a blast!  The kids were beating to their own drum, as all kids do  :)  I think we all had a workout keeping up with them :)  These children both have the most amazing eyes and features, just beautiful…..I could have photographed them all day, just close ups of their little faces.  Madison wanted her own private photo shoot and didn’t want to share the camera space very much, too funny!  Just wanted to give you a sneak peak at some of the photo’s.  So many to choose from so look for your on-line gallery coming soon!  Thank you so much for allowing me to document this “family outing”.
