He was just named one of the Top Wedding Photographers in the World for 2009 by Junebug Weddings. What an honor to be part of a very small group of people to attend. Thank you Roberto for your invaluable teaching. You were awesome! Thanks to Gustavo for putting it all together.
Enjoy these pictures of the beautiful Jessica who volunteered to model for us.

Nicole, you look amazing, and thank you to Jimmy for helping us out. You two are wonderful people and I’m honored that you thought of me to take your pictures. These are so special and I hope you treasure them forever.

This one is my favorite shot of all….. love the wind blowing Nicole’s hair… very serene.
The Petersen’s
November 27th, 2009 , Posted in UncategorizedYesterday for Thanksgiving we got together with my husbands side of the family. There are 8 siblings and 6 of them made it so it was a fun filled day. There was even a jam session with Chris and Mark playing guitar (and I mean playing like John Mayer kind of guitar, unbelievable!), and drums. Fun times! My husband even busted out the skateboard and was doing rolling handstands like he was 15 again (I won’t disclose his real age
Ha!!!) While all together I grabbed some shots of my brother-in-law, Jim and his wonderful wife Trish, and of course all the girls. Thanks you guys for a wonderful evening of family and laughs. It’s always fun to get together!
Happy Thanksgiving!

November 26th, 2009 , Posted in UncategorizedLast weekend I had the opportunity to photograph Denise and her daughter Christina. Christina’s boyfriend, Ashad, also joined us for some sweet pictures of him and Christina together. I thought this Thanksgiving morning would be a good time to post a family session. So many more to post and still four more sessions before the season is over. I just love this one of Denise and her daughter. They have such a connection and love for each other. It was one of my favorite sessions. There are tons more to post….. Thank you Denise for letting me capture these moments. They are priceless…..
Alma + Jacob: Married!
November 19th, 2009 , Posted in UncategorizedWhen Alma contacted me from Florida I was so excited. She was coming back to California to get married to her High School sweetheart and asked me to photograph their wedding. Alma looked amazingly beautiful on her wedding day and was so relaxed and laid back…. what a joy to work with. You could see how comfortable Alma and Jacob were together and it was awesome to be part of their day. Thanks you guys for allowing me to capture your day. Thanks to Tori for second shooting this day and Angela for assisting.
Sara + Andrew = Married!
November 9th, 2009 , Posted in UncategorizedA few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Sara & Andrew. They are a kick! They were married at Capital Christian Center in Sacramento and it’s an amazing church. I actually went to high school there nearly 20 years ago and it was a wonderful place for that time of life. So this was a treat to get to photograph here for the first time. We went downtown to capture some fun at the old Train Station next to the Federal buildings. Loved the phone booths and the long benches….. Thank you guys for allowing me and my team to capture this day for you. ENJOY! Lots more to come.
The infamous Crystal Petersen Photo Booth! Hysterical!!! Grrrrrrr…….
Walking to their hotel……. how cool is that?
